Disillusioned by his unrewarding career at Sunshine Desserts,
Reginald Perrin (Leonard Rossiter) has a mid-life crisis and fakes
his own death. He hilariously attempts to “start over,” but every
time he breaks free, life comes full circle and the eccentric Reggie
winds up exactly where he started. Adapted by David Nobbs from his
